Educational Qualification Requirement

Details of minimum educational qualification according to the notification of West Bengal Health Recruitment Board are stipulated below –

Eligibility for Staff Nurse Grade 2 Posts: GNM or Basic BSC Nursing or Post B.Sc Nursing.

Other Eligibility Criteria –

1. Applicant must be a citizen of India.
2. Knowledge of Bengali or Nepali in Spoken and Written is desirable.

Age Limit

One must have the following age limit to apply for the posts of Staff Nurse Grade II.

• Lower Limit – 18 years.
• Upper or maximum age – 39 years.

The upper limit will be relaxable as per the category of the candidates. Age will be calculated as on 1st January 2018.

Monthly Salary

The salary scale for Staff Nurse is – Basic Pay 7100 – 37600 in PB 3, Grade Pay of Rs. 3600/- and other allowances will be admissible as per existing government rules. All type of pay including in it.

Selection Process

Candidates may be recruited based on written test/interview. More information regarding the procedure of selection will be available soon.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 210 for OBC candidates. SC ST and PWD candidates need not pay the application fee. Candidates have to pay the fees through bank counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS.
